VERSITRON’S RS-485 fiber optic teledata modem which is capable of transmitting both data and voice communications simultaneously over one fiber has proven to be a "crowd pleaser". Applications which are currently enjoying this product's flexibility include data collection points at a petrochemical company, electric power monitoring at a pharmaceutical plant, sensor links for a transit rail system and several others. Customers not only like the dual capability of the F270X/F271X products but also the installation options offered by our 4 styles of chassis and enclosures. These options are particularly popular since they allow customers to accommodate individual installation requirements as they change from site to site.
The F270X/F271X products are for use with regular 2-wire analog phone systems and standard RS-485 data links.
